A blast from the past

We were kind of bored so we decided to give you something special. We are proud to present a slice of our childhood, our very own:

TOP TEN CHILDHOOD CARTOONS.

10. Sailor Moon

Does anyone even remember what this show was about? No seriously, you guys.

9. Digimon

The evolutions in Digimon were far more cooler than those in Pokemon, yet every time I think of Digimon I think of it as Pokemon on crack. Y'know, something like this:

I still remember those Digimon Digivices that were pretty much the boy equivalent of a Tamagotchi.

8. Zoids

...Transformers without the transforming. Giant mechanical animals with loads of weaponry. This show was the epitome of manliness.

7. Winx Club

Any boy that says that they did not watch the Winx Club as a child is lying. I still remember [most of] the lyrics to the theme song and this show was...magical.

6. Sonic X

Some of you may not have watched this show but it was soooooo good. The plot was awesome and one of the best scenes in the entire show is when Sonic and Shadow both go into their super forms. I think I wet myself when I saw it.

*jizz in my pants*

5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

One of the best shows that was consistently good throughout my childhood. I'm pretty sure everyone was oblivious to the fact that the turtles were originally named after the four Renaissance painters [Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello & Michelangelo] when they first watched it as kids. [I was anyway]

Intro was the beeeeeest.

4. Beyblade

LETS BEYBLADE! LET IT RIP! Using spinning tops to save the world. What has the world come to? I'm almost sure everyone stopped watching Beyblade after the All Stars team split up [it made me cry every time :c]. Pretty much everyone had a beyblade in primary school and beyblades were banned in pretty much every primary school. Apparently flying beyblades = bad idea.

3. Yu-Gi-Oh!

It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-duel! What made the show so good, was that it was an awesome game as well. I don't think anyone bothered keeping up with the show after the Battle City tournament, but seeing the  Egyptian God cards in the original anime has stuck with me for life.
P.S. If you're incredibly bored, watch Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series, it is hilarious.

Oh yeah, one more thing. CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYLES!

2. Dragon Ball Z

This show was on an entirely new level of epic. The grueling sagas that would require Goku about 10 episodes to charge one spirit bomb made it all worthwhile when he released pure hell on Buu...and stuff. DBZ set the standard for badass with such awesomeness across the entire board. Hell hath no fury like a Super Saiyan scorned.

1. Pokemon

What else could it be?! You can not have a list of best childhood cartoons without Pokemon being present. Back in the day when the only region that mattered was Kanto and there was only 151 Pokemon to think about. The fact that the anime is still going is just proof that Pokemon is timeless. The video games made Pokemon so much better, experiencing the joys of catching and battling Pokemon just like in the show was priceless. I don't mind the fact that there are a fat load of Pokemon now and so many regions because it means that many kids get to experience the magic of Pokemon like we did when we were younger watching the show.

Gotta catch 'em all
